  1. Most of my “changes” were just one scale down after another. Realizing how I could make it work without doing 1000 new things. The rest I think I got covered (Other than all the learning curves) such as keep it clean, stay organized, separate work and living space, dirt and dust containment, repurpose whatever I can. Repair and refinish. I already live that way so that’s a no brainer to me. Perhaps that will at least make all that new learning a bit less chaotic.

  2. Paint Paint Paint! The Restore gets fresh mistinted paint every couple of weeks, and for six dollars a can, it’s worth hunting through the colours. Mixed two cans of same colour, different shades, and did an entire guest room for $12. Had to cover purple from prior owners kid decor.

  3. Jeff, I like your practical, straight forward, honest, low key attitude. Most of the guys on these channels are arrogant and patronizing.

  4. These budget tips are actually useful! especially the reminder that renovation costs go beyond materials alone. Cleanup is one part people underestimate, and dumpster rental in mt olive through Elite Dumpsters LLC can really help keep a project on track.
