This time at the Quick Speed Shop I’m going to talk about the affordable automotive restoration materials I’m using on my Chevy C10 stepside restoration project. This includes body fillers, primers, and paint.

  1. Appreciate your v8d on this…Im having to consider these things for my first time. I bought a ppg primer kit 6 or 7 years ago…not opened yet, hope it’s still good

  2. Good stuff, thanks for the recommendations! I’m gonna be painting my 73 Pinto on my channel soon, but I got a bunch of body work that I gotta do before that… Never heard of the Summit stuff, but the results seem to speak for themselves!

  3. A great way to revive that can of old mud is to mix a little fiberglass resin into it. Trust me it’s the same reducer that comes in the can. I also bought the Summit DTM epoxy Primer last month. Haven’t used it yet, but I’m sure it’ll do the job.
